1. Introduction
Welcome to Educated ("we", "our", "us"), operated by Albert Banke, Copenhagen, Denmark. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our platform for educational reviews and information. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years of age to use this platform. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years old. If you are under 16, you may not use this platform.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of our platform, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during registration
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
- Be responsible for all activities under your account
4. User Content & Reviews
When you submit reviews or other content to our platform, you agree to the following:
- License Grant: By submitting content (including reviews, ratings, pros/cons, and any other user-generated content), you grant Educated a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, display, and otherwise exploit such content in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed. This license survives termination of your account.
- Commercial Use: We may use, license, or sell aggregated, anonymized, or statistical data derived from user content to third parties, including educational institutions, researchers, and commercial partners. Individual reviews may be displayed with attribution or anonymously at our discretion.
- No Compensation: You acknowledge that you will not receive any compensation for your content or its use by Educated or its partners.
- Accuracy: You confirm that your reviews are based on genuine personal experience and are truthful to the best of your knowledge.
- Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you submit and warrant that you have all necessary rights to grant the licenses above.
- Moderation: We reserve the right to review, edit, remove, or refuse to publish any content at our sole discretion, without notice or liability.

5. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Educated and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with:
- Your access to or use of the platform
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your content, including any claims that your content infringes intellectual property rights or is defamatory, false, or otherwise harmful to third parties
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or defamatory reviews
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use the platform for commercial purposes without authorization
- Attempt to circumvent security measures
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Use automated systems to access the platform without permission
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
7. Intellectual Property
The Educated platform, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our proprietary content without permission.
8. Disclaimers
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated reviews. Educational decisions should be made based on multiple sources of information.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Educated shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the platform.
Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately, but the license you granted for your content shall survive.
11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the platform, we encourage you to first contact us at support@educated.dk to seek an informal resolution. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, you agree that any legal proceedings shall be conducted in accordance with Section 13 (Governing Law).
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via email or platform notification at least 30 days before the changes take effect. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must stop using the platform and delete your account before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Copenhagen, Denmark. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under mandatory EU consumer protection laws.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
